Interesting Stuff: This training is a little slack, I must admit. We just practised for the SAF Parade: Taking the pledge and stuff like that. We did a few minutes of drills. Being timer is full of stress, especially when the CSM is giving the commands. This training really got nothing much to write about. Except after training I went to buy bubble tea (AGAIN!!!). WHY??!! Because bubble tea is one of the best thing on earth (apart from MELTZ).

Oh ya! I just found out that Ben Lee is gonna quit N. Land. He's gonna migrate to Hong Kong, and coming back in 3 years. Gonna miss his sick jokes. When he comes back from Hong Kong, he's gonna tell me all the sick stuff he experienced there. Ben Lee, 一路顺风. SIANZZZ.. My platoon is becoming noober and noober. Last time always full strength. Then now, people like Guang En and Bei Er "pon" training. WTH!! Next time if I am a specs and my Part "pon" training, they're DEAD!!!

Another School Day - 25 June 2008, Wednesday

Sianzzz.. Today is BORING!!!

English: Mrs Lim came back from China. She is more "Mrs Lim" than before. The GREAT difference between Mrs Ang and her is that Mrs Lim can't take a joke. So.. we did some English stuff. BORING²

History: Free Period. History teacher never come. So replaced by relief teacher, who happened to be my NCC Sir. He allowed us to "discuss" (in our language, it means play murderer). This time, didn't get to be Murderer or Detective as much as yesterday.

PE: LAME²!!! Ran 2.4 for NAPFA. We were tested the 2nd time le.. Coz the previous time expired. This time, I "deproved" by a second!!! Last time: 12:29, this time: 12:30. Just nice got a "B". Close sia!!! Benedict won me again, and so did Jian Ming. Benedict got 3rd. He said he lost to someone twice his weight (Lucas) and got bashed. Then, we took height and weight again. I grew shorter by a cm. How did that happen??? Height: 154cm. Weight: 39kg.

Recess + English: Ate then went back to class to change. The next 50 minutes was dedicated to MURDERER!!! YAYness.. Mrs Lim somewhat forgotten to come for English. LOLX!!

Science: This term's Physics totally SUCK³!!! This teacher is like so... ______!!! Again, I can't find the right word. When he first came in to class, he scared everyone with his series-of-questions-about-yesterday-lesson. Good thing I was able to answer. Then, he taught about some conversion rate thing. WTH!!! He teach so fast everyone was like HUH?-ing. Then, there's when I know that I suck at Physics.

Assembly: Lower Secondary was supposed to go to the Hall to watch a skit. Just like every week, there will be prefects outside the hall to "attire-check" us. Kenna caught for wearing ankle socks. WTH?? My socks is like 2 cm above my ankle and I was caught while Ben had his socks 2 cm below his ankle and wasn't caught. ROFL!! The skit was quite nice. But a little messy coz they combined 3 stories together.

Class Contact Time: Talked about the Homecoming. I've got a feeling Homecoming will be screwed. Dunno why? Not sure if I should invite 6D peeps coz no1 inviting their Primary School Friend. Sorry ar..

The 30 minute free time before Infocomm Training starts: Went to the Library play Chess with Jia Hao. The first game was screwed. Second one was not finished due to time constrain.

Infocomm Training: Learn some stuff about shooting like camera, lights and sound. Gonna shoot a movie. OMG!!! The camera stuffs are damn chim sia. That Sec 4 guy really damn Zai sia..

Finally, school ends. I wanted to go buy bubble tea but decided not to for the sake of saving money. *TEMPTATION*
On the was home, saw Sergeant Kun Liang, Sergeant Don and another 2 sergeants who I don't know on the bus. Damn scared sia.. Dunno why but nowadays, always get to see Sergeants. Especially during morning assembly.
What is your problem?? My father then damn big ar?? Fuck you lah.. Bastard!!!! See your face damn Guai Lan leh!! Everything also want to control!! Use comp cannot ar.. Got prob ar?? Go old folks home eat shit lah!!!

Another School Day - 24 June 2008, Tuesday

Today's a "murderous" day. Well, if you get what I mean. Murderous as in people playing the game "Murderer" and not killing or something like that. for the whole day, the class played murderer whenever there was free time. Not the whole class but nearly half. It reminds me of the times we played that game in 6D after PSLE. Same game, different feeling...
I only got to be the murderer for 5 times in the whole day. The last time was the best. 10+ people playing together by squeezing hands. Killed 3 people that time. Being detective was also fun. I was the detective for 15+ times. I still think that 1-3's acting lousier than 6D's. They can't act sia. 一眼就看得出他们是murderer. LMAO.
After school, went to bubble tea shop. Most of the time if I am gonna hang out, bubble tea would be my lunch. SHIT LAH!!! Only 2 days passed and I've spent like.. 5 bucks??? Spent too much $$$ on bubble tea le.. Thanks to the bubble tea auntie for making the bubble tea taste so nice. Gonna save money from now on. So I didn't buy lunch but (follow-friends-and-eat-whatever-they-bought)ed. Lolx!!

First Day of the Second Semester

Life is back to the same old routine. Back to a book with the same thing on every page. Semester 2 is full of upcoming events, starting with Hair Check next week. Speaking of Hair, BAD HAIR DAY!!! Just cut my hair 2 days before school reopen, and now it's damn short. Can't compare hair le.. At least I won't fail Hair Check (after failing the previous 3 times).
And 1-3 didn't change much in the Holidays. I am expecting to enter the 1-3 classroom with Benedict saying that he beat my pumping record or something like that. Nothing change, except the Timetable. PE is now on Wednesdays and Fridays. Instead of the usual Thursday and Friday. And we are not taking Geography and Biology this term but History and Physics. And the Home Econs will be taking D & T while the D & T will be taking Home Econs. Home Econs teacher is quite... What's that word to show that someone is treating us like babies?
Other than those, nothing much changed. (That includes how tired I always am)

NNOOO!!! The lame old days are back. The holidays are gonna be over in a blink of an eye. 27 days ago, I was still wondering how to spend this holiday. SIANZZZ!!! I totally don't feel like going to school. And I feel a little feverish. Stupid rain-in-the-middle-of-the-night!!! Haiz..
This semester, I've gotta do better than the last. In studies, I've to top the class. In CCA, I've gotta be a Lance Corporal by the end of this year. In Physical Standard, I must be able to do a 360-push-up and win Julian, my 师傅. In Blogging, I have to achieve my 200th Post Anniversary by the end of this year.
And in case if you guys are in a 掉以轻心 mood, it's 14 more terms to the "O" Levels. *Shows that scared face*

6D Soccer Fanatic

Yesterday was great!!! Play HIONG Soccer with the Old 6D Boys. I "tycolly" scored a goal. This time much harder than last time. Coz got Xian Da and that stupid "Beckham" guy. That Beckham guy damn extra sia!!! I scold him til he almost cry and made him called me "Cool Guy" Hahax!! Damn funny. Jordan also joined in the scolding. So the legendary 8 boys (Paul, Yoong Jin, Jun Jia, Xian Da, Jordan, ME, Alvin, my bro and that extra Beckham guy) played soccer for 5 hours, with 7-11 breaks. My poor wallet got many holes now. Bought 2 gulps and a milkybar. We played even when it's raining but the fun was worth it all. Xian Da got a little rusty. ROFL!!!He used to be able to dribble past a dozen of players. Xian Da, no offence ar.. I was feeling tired the whole time. Can't catch with the fast-actioned moves i guess. And Paul, don't be so good at dribbling leh, at least let me defend sometimes lah. LMAO!!

Another Day in the School Holiday - 17 June 2008, Tuesday

Today = BBOORRIINNGGGGGGG!!!!!
Stayed home and comp-ed the whole day. Did some homework. Watched 传闻中的七公主. Have been watching it for a month. And now, it's the last episode. The ending is quite expected, but nice though. Nothing more to update about. Oh ya!!! Tomorrow, 6D boys are gonna meet up to play soccer. According to Xian Da, girls are welcomed to cheer. LMAO!!!

Hello skies of grey, Bye bye skies of blue~

The holidays are coming to an end. Say goodbye~ to the unusual 12-hours-of-sleep-a-day, 5-hours-of-non-stop-usage-of-the-computer and stuff like that. Back to old school days. This term, I've gotta work harder. Must top the class. Must win You Xin and become 1st in class. Must do more PT. Must train more for chin up. (I suck at that)
Holidays are gonna be over but I still got tonnes of homework to complete. A typical secondary school student. 1st week of holiday: Slack. 2nd week: More slack. 3rd week: Do a little homework. Last week: CHIONG!!!

Another Day in the School Holiday - 12 June 2008, Thursday

It's another day in the June Holidays. For some reasons, I'm kinda "high"this week. I kinda miss annual camp. One more year to the next annual camp... Haizzz..
Although everyday in the holidays are about the same, I kinda like it. Badmintoning everyday with my brother and the "Playground friends". I WANT TO PLAY BASKETBALL!!!!!! i play badminton like.. 4 times a week? Training my right hand like siao.. Then left hand never train. That's what I hate about badminton.
This post is really a random one.. Came out of nowhere.. OH YA!!! I WANT REUNION PARTY!!! SERIOUSLY!!! When is the last time 6D have fun together as a class??? Where's that 6D spirit??? Haizzz...
And guys!!! Do you know that the longest word that you can type with only one row of keyboard is "typewriter"? Just adding some sugar and spice to this post.

NCC Annual Camp 2008

My first annual camp = Screwed up

Annual camp sounds like fun, joy and laughter. But seriously it's sweat, blood and tears. It was tougher than what I thought it would have been. It's a 4D3N Camp but it feels like a week. Too tired, I guess. Only slept for 4 hours a day. Much worse than the normal 6-hours-a-day.

Day 1
The camp started in the old usual way, falling in at grandstand. We unpacked our stuff for the Sergeants to check if we brought cup noodles or biscuit. Btw, I am in Team Bravo, with Aloysius leading the team as IC. Then, we went to our bunks. Prepared for drill competition. We should have done the "Yang tinggi ke-kanan, rendah ke-keri, Dalam satu barisan PARAS" thing. It's easier than the kentucky drill. Anyway, drill competition is really screwed up. Next, we did some PT. Then, we had dinner. Learned the Food Cheer for the first time.

Then, we had Night Orienteering (also known as Treasure Hunt). It was damn fun sia.. Ran around the whole school searching for clues and completing task. Everything was perfect until I screwed up. It was really dumb. I lost my water bottle. Then, I go find it myself. Saw CSM on the way. He asked me to ask my group to gather at where he is. Then, he pump our IC. REALLY SCREWED UP SIA!!! Camp IC kenna pump because of me leh!!! Sorry ar, Aloysius..

Then, we had supper. The food quite nice. Reminds me of BURST Camp. Went back to Bunk after that. Bathe and prepared for lights out. We only have 6 hours to sleep. And I have to sleep with my "wife" (the rifle). Didn't slept well the whole time as a result of protecting my rifle. If a rifle is lost, the whole platoon have to pump 50. Btw, the Sergeants will go around the Bunks to steal the rifles. They came 3 times, all 3 times I was awake. So my rifle wasn't stolen. At about 3+ in the morning, there's a fire drill. In annual camps, fire drill is an opportunity for us to be pumped. We fall in below the canteen with our rifles. We saw our flags in the Sergeant's hand and knew we were dead. The next 30 minutes was dedicated to pumping. And the day ended.

Day 2
The morning started with a PT. Then, a breakfast. OMG!!! The food is really oily sia!!! No offence lah but.. I seriously can't take oily food for breakfast. Then, there's got field cooking. Quite fun sia!!! Get to cook Instant Noodles in the outdoors. After that, we went for IFC (Individual Fieldcraft "Something"). Learnt lots of thing about war like Judging distances, Scouting, Target Indication, etc. Didn't know Army stuff was so chim. Had PT (calling for pizza by touching the floodlights; 62353535), dinner then Sports Nite. 2nd time I screwed up in the camp. I went for the 200m, 100m x 3, 360m x 4 and 200 finals. Here are the results:

200m: 3rd (I know quite suck but for me quite good le, and I am not the sprinting type)

100m x 3: 3rd (Wasted 2 seconds when Aloysius pass the stick to me, my bad; didn't hold well)

360m x 4: 3rd (Ran as fast as I could le; Best was given)

200 finals: LAST!!! (I accidentally made it to the Finals and screwed up)

Next was supper, bathe, then lights out. Didn't experience the Sergeants stealing the rifle today coz too tired (was sleeping). At about 3+, fire drill again. Sleeping time dedicated to pumping again.

Day 3
Started the same way: PT then breakfast. Then, we split into Part A's and Part B's. Part B did drills while Part A went for IFC Test. I think I will pass the IFC. Judging distances screwed up a little but overall should still pass.

Next was lunch. We should have field cooking for lunch but it was raining. Then, Part A went to do drills while Part B went for IFC. Very long never do drills with my platoon mates le.. This time, we split into 3. Each group taken by a Sergeant: CSM, Sgt Mervyn and Sgt Nat. I was in Sgt Mervyn's group. Really pity those in CSM's group. Heard that they did more pumpings than drills.

In my group, I was the timer. Miss that timer feeling.. It feels so cool to be the timer again. I lagged at some point of time but overall not considered screwed up. We managed to get solid bangs.

Had dinner next. Watched a movie titled "300". It's about people called Spartans having a war with some enemies. If you see half-naked, 6-packed people with spears, swords and shields, they are THE SPARTANS.

Had War Game next. It was REALLY FUN!!! The objective is to capture your opponent's flag. But your enemy also have the same objective. So if you want to keep your flag safe or find the flag without your enemy stopping you, you will have to get rid of them. YUP! It's to KILL THEM!!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! By pulling the piece of cloth at the side pocket of their pants. The RED Team have the cloth on the left while the BLUE Team have the cloth on the right. I was on the RED. The first two match was quite screwed. We planned too much but too little action. Third match was the opposite. No plan just CHIONG!!! HAHA!!! We lost the match in the 10th minute. The fourth match was really well-planned. We planned for 10 minutes and then, ACTION!!! There were many teams: The Commando Team (meant for attacking and searching for flag), The Scouting Team (James Bond), The Decoy Team (Stay there and attract, then ambush), etc.

In the end, we won. There were many stories about the fourth match. One of them was 6 of the Red Team Guys fought a hand-to-hand combat with 20+ of the Blue Team Guys outside the Art Room. In the end, none of the Red Team Guys died. But the Blue Team Guys were either killed or wounded. I know what you want to say, Red Team ROCKS!!! FYI, you are right.

After the tiring war game, we had supper. Today's supper is extra late: 3+. But it is also extra good!!! Remmber the Pizza we "called" for? It's here. The pizza was really good. Although we called for Pizza Hut, Canadian Pizza arrived. Hahahaha!!! So the day ended without a fire drill. Day 3 totally ROCKS!!!

Day 4
This is the last day, also the shortest day. Started with a morning PT. This one was the best. We ran 2 rounds around the track and did chin-ups. That's all for PT. Breakfast was as usual. Went back to bunk to clean up, pack up, prepare for Parade, prepare for bunk check and reflect about this camp with the Sgts. I WASN'T THE POC!! I WASN'T!!! BUT WHY??!! WHY??!! WHY????!!!!!!!! Nvm. Gonna work harder. So.. Just like that, the camp ended with a Parade. And Wei Ren was the OOC (Overall Outstanding Cadet).

P.s. I am now a Private!!! No longer a Recruit!!! YAY!!!

Another Day in the School Holiday - 3 June 2008, Tuesday

Yesterday's schedule was full so there's no time to update. Yesterday was GREAT!!! It started with painting the NCC Camp Flag.. BRAVO ROCKS!!! (AND RULES!!!) The camp flag was half done when we started, thanks to my Camp IC Aloysius.. Our Camp Group has 5 person but only 2 turned up. But since the flag was already half done, it only took us an hours and it's completed at 12+. I admit I slack a little. Hahax!! Just as the flag was completed, Yoong Jin called me. He asked if I wanted to join Paul and the rest for soccer. COOL!!! That was all I need to make this day rock. We met in Compass Point KFC at 1.35 and went for soccer at about 2+. We (Yoong Jin, Paul, Jordan, Jun Jia, Alvin and me) played 2 matches in 2 hours. 1st Match: 5 : 3, 2nd Match: 1: 3. Among them, I scored 2 goals and saved 2. Then, we went to 7-11 for some Gulp. Played for awhile and went home after that. MAN!!! I LOVE 2 JUNE 2008!!!

Today
Benedict, Ivan and Jia Hao came over to my house to do a project. Quite lame.. Fooled around most of the time and left the work to Ivan. SIANZZZ.. Then, Comp lag. The whole thing not saved. SHIT!!! 2 hours of work just gone like that. We just did a little more and gave Ivan the privilege of bringing home the undone work. After that, we slacked. My bro played chess with Jia Hao while I played VolleySoccer (Volleyball + Soccer) with Ben and Ivan. Quite lame.

P.s. There's that Energy Conservation thing tomorrow. Just hope I pass the test and get the badge.

P.s.s. This Thursday is Annual Camp. Gonna be fun.. Just hope that we get to bathe (not like that BURST Camp). Haven't got the stuffs prepared yet. DIE LE.. Heard there's Hell Night this year. Hell Night is an event organised by sadist Sergeants to literally kill the Part A's and B's. They will wake us up in the middle of the night and make us pump.
